Richard Armour once said that "politics, it seems to me, for years or all too long, has been concerned with right and left instead of right and wrong". Nowhere does this hold truer than in the arena of Indian politics. However, unlike in the west, the liberalism or the conventionalism of our parties does not go much beyond the issues of 'Secularism'. On most other issues, the stand seems to be not too dissimilar
The liberals and their ardent supporters would have you believe that the conservatives in our country will settle for nothing less than a holocaust of Muslims at least as grand in numbers as the one instigated by Hitler. Their lies have already been exposed though, states where our conservatives, the NDA parties rule continue to be the richest and most progressive states in our country where the minorities prosper just as much as if not more than Hindus.
However fanatics of Nehruvian Secularism refuse to accept this fact Any attempts to speak out the real truth of communal affairs that is made by people like Muhammed Vastanvi, the Gujarati Muslim cleric who spoke in favor of Narrendra Modi's rule is violently opposed with violent shrieks and squeals across public platforms by liberal fanatics of our country. Let us hope that people will not be fooled by these people any more.
