Last week the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) which is running a campaign called National Election Watch startled many when it released figures which showed that Mayawait's political party BSP was the party which was raising income the fastest among all Political Parties in India, the pace set by Mayawati's BSP truly is staggering if one considers the period of 2008-09, according to the figures which were drawn from RTI applications and studying income tax returns. The report says Mayawati's BSP's income rose from Rs 69 crore to 182 crore - a jump of 161% in 2008-09.
Most regional parties were tame in comparison in raising the mullah, while national parties still were behind considerably, the congress's income grew by 125% from 220 crore to 496 crore. The rate at which the BSP is raking it in could make madam Maya very very rich very fast indeed.

But alas at the moment it has to wait to to be at the top spot for the aggregate income category. That spot at the moment continues to be occupied by hamara Congress with an income of 716.69 crore. BIP is way behind at the second spot with a paltry 343 crore. The Political parties that were surveyed were BJP, BSP, Samajwadi Party, CPI, CPM, RJD, NCP and of course INC. Truly madam Mayawaiti you are great!!
